Struggling Saturdays: The trials of being a responsible student

Most of my Saturdays in Ada are usually occupied by sleep. However, due to a surprise visit from a friend, the normal morning schedule was altered. Not knowing what time the kitchen was closing breakfast, we confidently strolled in thirty minutes after the fact. Thankfully, we were cut some slack and offered the special for the morning.

I could have ordered or bought them from ONU's bookstore, but with this being my last semester, I refused to spend anymore money on books. I figured why do that when getting a library card is free?

Although I was proud I put up the effort to actually be disciplined, the drive to be a good student immediately faded the second I checked out my books. Feeling accomplished with a lot of Saturday left, I decided to spend the rest of it to relax. I mean hey, there's always tomorrow. I just hope I remember how to read real books.
